Virat Kohli is an Indian international cricketer and the former captain of the Indian national cricket team who plays as a right-handed batsman for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL and for the Delhi in Indian domestic cricket

Kohli has made a point of remaining consistent, which is another area he has focused on besides his fitness. His matches have always been good, jaw-dropping performances even. However, his performance has slowly dipped in the last year or two with no century to his name in that time. The previous century he hit was against Bangladesh at Eden Games. Furthermore, a forgettable saga happened between BCCI and Virat Kohli once he stepped down from T20i captaincy, then selectors decided that there can be only one limited overs captain. Soon after all this, in few months, he stepped down from test captain as well.

Kohli batted through the whole game in Dubai, scoring 122 runs without being dismissed off in 61 deliveries with 12 fours and 6 sixes. In scoring his 71st international century, Kohli tied with Australia’s batting great Ricky Ponting for the most in the history of the game.

Kohli scored an unbeaten knock of 82 in just 53 balls as India produced an impossible looking four-wicket victory in the last-over thriller at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) against Pakistan.
